My son, William James Ostertag Harrison was born on February 28, 2008
at 11:27am, after 55 hours of labor. Will was 7.2lbs, and 21
inches long. He had Meconium Aspiration syndrome and spent his
first 6 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Washington Hospital
Center. With the love of his family and very skilled doctors and
nurses, Will recovered and came home after a week in the hospital. The
pictures in the slideshows below are from his first two and a half
weeks...they were taken by his father, King Harrison, his grandmother
Ramona, his uncle Otis, his aunt Kate, and me. (his mom)

Will is going to be six weeks old in a few days...we've had a great
couple of weeks, lots of visitors, and two trips downtown to see the
monuments and the cherry blossoms! Here are some pics from the last few
weeks...most of these were taken by my mom, Ramona Swift.

Will is going to be 8 weeks old on Thursday! We've had a great
couple of weeks. We took a trip north to see family, and had visitors
from the south too! The only bummer was that Gr'amona had to
leave to go back to Arizona. Most of the pictures below were
taken by Gr'amona (that's MH Ramona Swift) before she had to leave, or
myself...but a couple were taken by budding photographer and super
cousin Jordon!

Will is going to be 14 weeks old this Thursday! What a great time
we've been having! We went to Richmond, for Will's Aunt Zuey's
baby shower...her son Devin was born shortly thereafter...and just last
week we went to the International Space Development Conference in DC.
Will hung out with his dad, King and also with some great space folk,
including Buzz Aldrin, and Virgin Galactic's Alex Tai!!!

Will was turned four months old yesterday! We've had another exciting month! We've
been very busy working, finishing up the space conference photos, and
shooting SILVERDOCS with King and Lauren. Most of the photos
below are from the festival. They were shot by King, Lauren, and
myself.

Will was five months old last week. What a great
time we've been having. We took pictures at another Space event,
NewSpace 08, where Will tried his very first solid foods...mashed
potatoes, of course. I must have eaten mashed potatoes 4 times a
week when I was pregnant with him! Since then he's been eating
mashed sweet potatoes, carrots, and banannas! We had an awesome
weekend down in Richmond with the Harrisons for Queen Quedith's Olympic
send-off! Go Queen!!! Just yesterday, Will and I went to
his very first movie...Pixar's Wall-E. He really enjoyed it, and
so did I after five months of not going to the theater. Also
yesterday, we were reading a book before bed like we usually
do...Goodnight Moon...when Will reached for the book. I asked him
if he wanted to turn the pages, and he did! I read and he turned
the pages. I don't think I've been more excited ever! The pics in this
slideshow were mostly taken by me, though a few were taken by Will's
dad King, and a couple by the budding photog, his cousin Jordon!
